About the practice
Updated: Oct 6
Jonathan Bohannon, M.S., LPC-Associate, practices through Bohannon Counseling, LLC in El Paso. Services are provided under the supervision of Richard Salcido, LPC-S.
He is a former U.S. Army combat medic, in service from March 2006 to August 2012, including Iraq and Afghanistan, and holds the Combat Medical Badge. His graduate clinical degree is a Master of Science in Mental Health Counseling from the University of Texas at El Paso.
The work is individual therapy for adults, with a center of gravity on service members, veterans, and families. Typical presenting problems are transition, trauma exposure, moral injury, anxiety, depression, and a life that still functions and still does not feel workable.
This page does not list an employer title. It does not claim full LPC licensure, a psychology degree from the University of California, ten years of therapy practice, or that insurance is accepted. Those lines on the About page are leftover template text and are not accurate.
If you are considering adult individual counseling, review session information and decide whether the approach fits what you need. View availability on Headway for virtual appointments, insurance information, and cost estimates, or read what to expect when starting therapy.
