Counseling Services
Updated: Oct 6
I provide practical, collaborative counseling for adults who want a clearer understanding of what is happening and a realistic plan for moving forward. Therapy is tailored to the person rather than built around a one-size-fits-all script.
Trauma and PTSD: Counseling may focus on intrusive memories, avoidance, hypervigilance, irritability, sleep problems, emotional numbness, guilt, or difficulty reconnecting with everyday life. Treatment can begin with stabilization and current symptoms before moving into deeper trauma work.
Anxiety and depression: Therapy can address chronic worry, panic, overthinking, low motivation, hopelessness, isolation, poor concentration, sleep changes, and the impact these symptoms have on work and relationships.
Military and veteran concerns: I work with service members and veterans dealing with trauma, transition, identity changes, moral injury, reintegration, relationship stress, and the challenge of adjusting from a mission-focused environment to civilian life.
Grief and life transitions: Counseling can help with bereavement, divorce, retirement, career changes, family changes, relocation, or other major losses and transitions that disrupt a person's sense of stability.
Stress, burnout, and adjustment: Not every problem fits neatly into a diagnosis. Therapy can also help when stress has become chronic, patience is shorter, work feels overwhelming, relationships are strained, or you simply do not feel like yourself anymore.
The first step is figuring out what is affecting you now, what you want to change, and whether my approach fits what you are looking for.
Individual online counseling for Texas adults
I work with adults navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, ongoing stress, and major life transitions. My background as an Army veteran and former combat medic informs my work with military members and veterans. Adults from all backgrounds are welcome; you do not need a military connection to work with me.
My approach is direct, practical, and collaborative. We can begin with what is happening now, what you want to change, and what has or has not helped. Together, we will discuss goals and strategies that connect to your everyday life. The first appointment is also a chance to ask questions and consider whether working together feels like a good fit.
